Alpha Silver Fox Members May Use This Format for Their Club
The following club charter sample may be used by Alpha Silver Fox members who start a club, and will save them the time needed to write out their local rules. The Article I: Club Name, Theme, and Charter Members requires filling in just 4 fields, and that's all you need to write.
Once you form a club and have a club name selected, contact the Silver Fox Society and provide details for the 4 entries in Article I in order to receive your custom local club charter suitable for framing and mounting on the wall.

Article II: Relationship with The Silver Fox Society
This club agrees to operate in the spirit of and according to the tenets of the Silver Fox Society.
It is understood that neither the local club Alpha Silver Fox nor the local club Silver Fox members are officers or employees of the Silver Fox Society, and may not represent themselves as representatives or agents of the Society. It is also understood that the local club may not use the Silver Fox Society name or logo in any manner without express written permission of the the Silver Fox Society. No local Silver Fox clubs may use the Silver Fox Society name or logo on any web sites without express written permission of the the Silver Fox Society.
Article III: Membership and Eligibility
This club requires that all members are members in good standing of the Silver Fox Society. Additional members may be added to our local club by request, by nomination by a current member, or verbal agreement by the other members.
Article IV: Officers
The Alpha Silver Fox serves as the organizer of the club, conducts the club meetings, and coordinates activities with other Silver Fox clubs.
In the event the Alpha Silver Fox is unable, unavailable, or unwilling to continue his duties a temporary or permanent Alpha Silver Fox may be appointed by the Alpha Silver Fox or by agreement of the other members. We reserve the right to assign a line of succession.
Article V: Meetings
At least once per year, the club will have a formal meeting where the club business is discussed and issues resolved. The Alpha Silver Fox may call additional meetings should the necessity or interest arise.
Article VI: Financial Requirements
Each individual member pays for their personal expenses for our social activities. If deemed necessary by the club, we may decide to add local dues now or at some time in the future. In addition, each member is responsible and liable to renew his annual membership at the Silver Fox Society website to remain a member in good standing.
Article VII: Adoption and Amendments
We may choose to modify this Charter or add additional bylaws with agreement by the members. The Alpha Silver Fox may make the modification. It is the responsibility of the Alpha Silver Fox to forward a copy of the amended Charter to the Silver Fox headquarters.
Article VIII: Rules of Behavior
Illegal or immoral behavior contrary to the social and charitable nature of the Silver Fox Society is not permitted and may result in the club member responsible being removed as a member from our local club.
Article IX: Dissolution
In the event the club is dissolved, all assets of the club will be distributed equally among the members. The Alpha Silver Fox will be responsible for notifying the Silver Fox Society headquarters of the dissolution of the local club.
Article X: Legal Statement
Rules or bylaws in this charter that violate local ordinances of the city, district or state, national laws of the country of the club, or international law, will be considered null and void.
