Guidelines for Our Members
People interested in joining the Silver Fox Society who meet the guidelines for our members are encouraged to apply for membership.
The qualifications and criteria for membership include a heart for charity work, having discretionary time available for participation in charity projects and silver, grey or no hair. New members are selected for acceptance based on nominations and agreements from current members.
We want to grow our organization, so persons interested in helping in charity and volunteer work in The Woodlands or other local communities around Houston, Texas, may use our contact form for consideration. The requirement for silver, grey or no hair could certainly be a younger person with just one grey hair, and if you see it, we don’t have to inspect or verify that qualification.
Willingness to help and care for others in need is a primary character trait of all Silver Fox Society members.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at a local coffee shop. Chairmanship for each meeting is rotated among the members, and meetings can be skipped by members if they have conflicts regarding family or work related issues.
Meetings are also held the third Wednesday of each month on an as needed basis.
